A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has exceeded more than one million informational booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth news european elections About Drugs”, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
